If your budget is limited then you can try looking for some working abroad opportunities so you can just pay your own expenses as you go from one country to another.
While there are a lot of ways that you can try to fulfill your globetrotting dreams, often the key is simply to be a bit more creative in your search for jobs at least in the first country you would want to visit. That will set you apart from the rest of people who would have the same goal as yours. But you must first determine if you possess the traits of someone capable of doing it. Can you work with people of different nationalities? Are you flexible enough to mingle with others? Do you have the skills for the job?

For one, they have partnerships with companies in the country that you would want to visit and work in so if you get hired almost everything that you need to work there will be taken care for you. Aside from that they are also looking for seasonal workers, perfect for backpackers like you.
Use a local job search website or service. By local I mean a website that caters to the country of your choice for example in Japan so you can work and travel Japan. Just as what you would do to look for a job in your location, you can use such websites to search for jobs in another country. Do not be deterred if you do not find any job opening for foreigners like you. Just try to find a job ad that is tailor fit to your own skill level, and then contact that company and try convince them to hire you instead of a local employee.
You can also try the hotels in the area. Especially for the peak season for tourism, many hotels are looking for extra hands to help with their daily management needs. If you have worked in the hotel industry then you will surely have an advantage. Aside from that, since you yourself is a foreigner then you will know exactly how to treat a tourist and even contribute to the way the establishment is being run.
In the same way that you can look for a job in hotels, you can do the same with resorts. And often it depends on the nature of the resort. Take for example ski resorts. WIth all probability these resorts would need more employees during the winter season to help with the increase in tourists.
These are just some of the ways that you can find working abroad opportunities. While it is not just about luck, you should depend on your own resourcefulness to help you land the job that you want, for example, find a job in Japan, so you can finance your own travels, for example if you need English speaking jobs in Japan. It may not be easy to find the exact jobs that you are interested in, especially with the condition of the world economy, but you will surely find one that fits your needs.
